Leprechaun Trap And St. Patrick's Day Decor Inspo
The absolute best days around our house are the days that Shane gets to spend time crafting away with his boys. Jensen got a Leprechaun trap kindergarten assignment and zero time was wasted before getting to work on it. Shane and Jensen brainstormed an amazing trap which included a rainbow, shamrock garden and enticing steps leading up to a pot of gold with a secret trap door at the top where the Leprechaun will fall into a ball pit that lights up. Jensen can scoop out any outsmarted Leprechauns with a nifty rescue hoop.
Shane loves to create cardboard creations so this challenge was right up his alley. Jensen did his part by not only designing the trap but painting it and applying the cotton, tulle, gold coins, shamrocks and felt. A true team effort. A great day was spent together working on an adorable and unique trap!
I love to make each holiday fun for the kids and lets face it, its fun for me too! My goal is to create fond memories for my kids of their childhood. For St. Patrick’s Day I did some paper crafting to decorate the mantle to get into the green, gold and rainbow spirit. I downloaded and hand cut photo booth props and created the bunting banner. I ordered the rainbow picture from Etsy. The shamrocks and gold coins (oval preset file) I cut out using my scan and cut cutting machine. I loved the way it all turned out!
