St. Patty's Day Decor & Treats

For this easy St. Patrick’s Day table top tree decor, I used the same mini tree I used for the Valentine’s Day Tree. I found light up shamrock lights at Dollar Tree and purchased 4 sets to light the tree. I also purchased a package of plastic gold coins and hot glued some string to them to create ornaments to hang on the tree. I took the shamrock medallion off of a light up necklace and wired it on as a tree topper. The tree looked cute, but really felt like it was still missing something. To add a little color, I added the cut out rainbow printables.

I made a banner with a free Printables from Tauni Everett. I just printed them out and use a Fiskars fingertip craft knife to cute them out. I used a small hole punch and some string to make a very easy shamrock banner. The site also shows how you could make a fun St. Patricks Day Scavenger Hunt, with adorable printable shamrock clues. I look forward to using these with my kids on March 17th!

I had collected a few of our favorite St. Patrick’s Day sweet snacks, like Rolos, rainbow ribbons and Lucky Charms cereal in preparation for this themed candy board. I had hoped to make it to grab a few more green candies at our local candy shop, but my priorities shifted a lot once the coronavirus concern shook up our life. I found a few additional items on my last grocery run and put them together to make a sweet centerpiece my family will love despite it not being my original vision.
