This year our neighborhood, who always get REALLY into Halloween, wanted to make Trick or Treating as Covid safe as possible. A directional map of our neighborhood was created with chalk marking on the sidewalks and neighbors were encouraged to set up a table instead of having the kids walk up our narrow sidewalks leading to the houses. We decided to use the Sweet Treat Booth, play up the contrasting black and white decorations and set up our garage for a fun and just a little spooky Halloween walk up experience. It only took a few minutes to set up, but it turned out pretty cute so I thought I would share for those looking for similar Halloween inspiration.
My kids used the backdrop for their Halloween photos. Several families trick or treating asked to take photos here as well! Janie was a slimy snail, Cal was Ninjago Jay and Clara made a simple pineapple outfit. The costumes weren’t in a family theme this year, but they were so fitting of each kids personality and what they are each into this year.
