Blippi Bash - Jace's 2nd Birthday

I had the chance to help my sweet (and absolutely adorable) nephew is celebrate his 2nd birthday with his current obsession, Blippi! The party was a small, family gathering that we pulled together on a quick time frame so I used some elements from past events and found some adorable (super easy & affordable too!) Blippi themed printable decorations on Etsy to pair with some simple balloons in the Blippi color scheme and it made for some thrilled kiddos and a happy afternoon of celebration.

Jace in his adorable Blippi outfit that I ordered from Target. We attempted to do the photos when he was a bit tired so he shared less smiles than usual but this little guy can work the serious face too! He was obsessed with the balloons the second I unloaded them and carried balloons around most of the afternoon, or at least until he opened gifts.

It was such a lovely warm day for a celebration and my brother set up all sorts of outdoor water activities for the cousins (aged 2 to 14) to be entertained with. We kept the cake and food buffet inside but had some of the party snacks that wouldn’t be too impacted by the heat on this fun celebration table. Unfortunately the bright sun made it a little challenging to photograph, especially the glass signs, but they looked so cute on the table!

Below are some more of the party details:

For extra treats, I wrapped the fruit snack in a printed wrapper, used orange jelly fruit slices with plastic bags with a printed topper stapled on. I made the cupcake rounds and then added them to the yummy Trader Joe’s star cookies. The construction vehicles were an Amazon find and looked adorable with the printed favor tags and blue and white craft twine. I used editable printable to add Jace’s name and then put them in frames. Along the back of the table I made a simple balloon garland to add texture and color to the outdoor party table.

Fringe Backdrop are Custom Orders from Glam Fete by Bri on Etsy. We love working with this company and these fringe backdrops add so much festive style to any event.

The signs, printable decor, favor tags and treat wrappers were so easy to do with printable party packages from Etsy. Links below to the exact packages from Etsy that we used for this party: Kid Zone Printables and Charlotte Rose Papier.

Jace loved this Bulldozer toy and had so much fun playing with it so ended up being a helpful tool in getting his photo taken. The balloon “2” is made with a template from Creative Heart Studios and then we used balloon glue to attach balloons (mainly 5 inch and a few 9 inch) to the inside of the number frame. With this one, I didn’t use enough of the glue and therefore the wind/travel movement displaced the balloons around a bit so the photos don’t look as good as it did originally. For past balloon mosaics, we have used low temp glue gun for a firmer hold but left town without the glue gun. All in all, Jace LOVED the balloons and it looked fun but originally all of the balloon ends were facing back.
