Friends Themed Sleepover

My teen daughter discovered the Friends tv show during our quarantine months and has been obsessed with it ever since, as have most of her friends. This year hear birthday timing was a little challenging to host a big party so instead we had a small sleepover with two of her Friends-loving pals and ran with the theme a little. It was so fun and easy to do!

The adorable light up Friends and Central Perk signs were both scores from Marshalls and also something that Clara used planned to add to her room decor.

Lavender is such an on-trend color right now in my teen daughter’s world so we ran with the lavender, black & white theme and then added a little silver in the balloons. On Etsy we found some great party printable for the banner, signs, party favor wraps and cake toppers.

We set the party up in our play room that already has a black & white design. The space works great for this because it is big enough for a sleep over and allows the teen girls a little of their own space. Once the party was going, they really were able to occupy themselves so less scheduled activities were needed. We had a Friends themed game leftover from my college years and some fun trivia options but really the girls just munched, talked, watched movies and did some easy spa treatments like face and lip masks that I set out for them.

For the party favors I got each of the girls a sleep shirt with the friends logo from Target and a set of cute friends themed footie socks. I found some fun and easy to use printable off of Etsy and created a few themed decorations, cake topper and favor boxes, but for a small sleepover celebration, it turned out pretty cute and got a lot of laughs from the teens.

Because the party was small, it was fun and easy to create and the girls got so into the little details!
