Karlie's Teddy Bear Themed Baby Shower

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to help Sara throw a beautiful teddy bear themed baby shower in her home for her daughter and our friend, Karlie Rae.

The shower was intimate with a small guest list due to restrictions, with close friends and family in attendance.

We wanted to do a spin on the classic baby blue color scheme that is popular with teddy bear themes and went for a slate blue, brown, white and nude color pallet. Karlie absolutely loved the final look and vibe.

For the signs around the shower we went with a natural wood with white lettering from The Poppyjack shop on Etsy.

Light up letters by Alphalit Seattle

We loved the statement light up lettering by Alphalit Seattle. Alphalit has franchises all over the USA. They are so easy to work with, they come and set everything up prior to your event and then come and pick it all up later in the day. Erin and I just had to install the balloons we prepped for the lettering. It’s such a great and easy way to make a big statement.

Beautiful teddy bear and florals

Throughout the shower we placed beautiful fresh floral bouquets that my husband Shane arraigned with sweet little teddy bears and glassy baby candles.

The most gorgeous charcuterie board

Sara, Karlie’s Mother put together the most beautiful charcuterie table I have ever seen! Absolutely stunning! I would say the charcuterie table stole the show, it was seriously impressive!

There was a “Momosa” bar where guests were able to self serve mimosas to their liking. I thought the labels tied with white ribbon on the carafes was a nice touch and so easy to do! We simply found the tags on Etsy for under $5 (linked below), printed them off and tied them to the carafes with white ribbon tied into a bow at the back.

Mimosa station

Sara peppered pictures of Karlie’s little family throughout the shower.

For a sweet treat for guests we laid out a “Beary Sweet” dessert station filled with cookies and cupcakes. The adorable cookies were made by Amy’s cookies, a talented local baker and cookie artist. For the cupcakes, we ordered them from our local grocery bakery and topped them with cute paper teddy bears for Teal Berry on Etsy.

Each guest left with an adorable teddy bear cake pop party favor with a tag thanking them for attending the shower. The cake pops were made by the talented Cake Pops by Rachel. I’m always impressed with the attention to detail in every pop she makes!

The place setting design was beautiful and inexpensive to create. The plates were from Target, simple gold chargers from the Dollar Tree (who knew?) natural toned linen napkins, disposable stemless plastic gold trimmed wine glasses and fancy gold and white disposable cutlery. We added the beautiful flower bouquets running down the center of the table. All linked below!

Karlie with her two year old daughter, Blair

As always, we love working with Karlie and had the best time planning this event with her Mother, Sara. It was an incredibly special day celebrating baby boy Lang!

Table Setting supplies, simple but elegant. Just add beautiful floral bouquets!

For the balloon garland we used Tuftex brand balloons in white, slate, cocoa and blush sizes 5” and 11”
