Lucky Shamrock Brunch

Lucky Shamrock Brunch

We love to celebrate in our household! And since this mama (with the Irish name, Erin) loves to decorate and, I had some fun putting together a Lucky Shamrock brunch set up for my crew. I have found that this year (pandemic) small celebrations have gone a long way in making the days seem special and bringing us added joy and it doesn’t need to cost a lot of money. In fact, I love to see the impact and WOW factor I can create with a small budget!

Here is our mantle and brunch table set up:

The mantle decor is just prints that I made for simple white frames that I like to change out for different holidays, free printable banners and and crafts, plus the glitter shamrock and leprechaun hat from Dollar Tree. I pulled in a gold mini plant from another part of the room, for a pop of gold. Links to free printable designs included at the bottom. Another place to find great printable art that is affordable is on Etsy. Check out some of the ones we LOVE linked at the bottom.

The table centerpiece are acacia pieces that I already had and use over and over. The mini lazy Susan is from Target and the tiered plate a Home Goods find, although Target carries a similar one. I layered over a plaid green and white plaid and shamrock dish towel for a pop of color. I added my brunch serving pieces and this medium sized faux plant, a gold frame with shamrocks, a gold glassy baby and some faux gold coins we have used for several years from Dollar Tree.

For table setting pieces, the green plates are from Dollar Tree. Since they are fairly flimsy, I double them up but the color and price were sure right! The gold disposable silverware are from Spritz by Target. The cocktail napkins with mini Shamrocks were from Cypress Home. I love how they are so classic and crisp although I wish they were dinner napkin sized so I just layered them to make them work. The place setting tags were just cut and made by hand, and the glitter shamrock were from Dollar Tree.

These adorable Lucky You disposable hot beverage cup set are my My Minds Eye. I love their classic and adorable designs for very well-made party goods. We have loved working with a number of their products for past events.

The framed printables were created from designs in the Silhouette Design store. The banners are both free designs and we’ve provided links to them below.

These paper shamrocks were made for some cool printables from the Tiny Me blog. I used a small hand cutting tool with mat, covered wire and floral tape to make these easy paper shamrocks. there are lines on them to score so that you can crease, giving the clover detention. I love that there are different colors in the collection so that they look for realistic in a vase. On the blog, she uses them in a banner which is also adorable!

Tools I used with the St. Patrick’s Day printables from Tiny Me. The FIskars tiger tip cutting tool is a favorite of mine for jobs like this. It is sharp like an exacto knife, but very easy to maneuver for small cut.

Here I just clustered the mini shamrocks from Tiny Me on the outside of a gold 4X6 frame. It adds some fun texture to the table, but it easy to make!

Printables from Silhouette Designs store. I actually hand cut these with my Fiskars hand finger tip cutting tool. They look adorable with any gold, green or even rainbow candy.

Brunch goodies from Trader Joes. The blueberry muffins, mini orange cranberry scones, biscotti and gold wrapped dark chocolate peanut butter cups are a big hit with my family. In addition to our breakfast casserole, OJ, cocoa & hot chocolate.

Free Printables.jpg

Click on the photo links above for the various free printables I used. I made the collection of white frames art prints using designs from the Silhouette Design Studio. The rainbow and “Feeling Lucky” design I just had to change out the color and I used a single shamrock design to create the hombre shamrock grid, although here is a similar free one from Paper Trail Design that I found after I created this one. The fold over treat bag toppers are also a Silhouette Studio design. The Kiss Me printable design is from Pizzazzeriae. The Shamrocks from the paper shamrocks on the picture and on the mantle were both made from the printable set from Tiny Me. The Lucky banner was made with free printables from Paging Super Mom. The shamrock banner was made with free printables from Tauni Everett. I made this banner last year and loved being able to use it again.
