Little Pumpkin Gianna turns 1!
Our sweet little friend, Gianna turned one in early November. Gianna is the happiest baby girl, she brings everyone she meets so much joy! It was such a treat to get to help celebrate this amazing kid! Her Mom and my dear friend, Joanna (aka @targettherapy on Instagram) wanted to throw a small friends and family “little pumpkin” birthday party to celebrate this sweet kid. I loved the colors Joanna picked out; gold, burnt orange, white and pops of pink. Everything turned out absolutely perfect! Joanna is a wonderful party planner and has an excellent creative eye for party decor.
Joanna ordered the most adorable cookies from Raining cookies. I am always blown away by how perfectly decorated their cookies are and they taste amazing! The smash cake and cupcakes were made by Jenny’s cookies. I will continue to dream about how deliciously sweet the cake smelled! Always beautiful, always tasty treats at Joanna’s parties!
The cake topper was a custom order from Etsy shop MintToBeUs. Cake by Jenny’s Cookies
Joanna and her Mother put together the most beautiful (and delicious) charcuterie spread, sandwiches and salads for guests to enjoy. The display of food with a colorful floral bouquet was absolutely stunning!
(These floral arrangements were fresh but we included link to high quality faux that matches the color scheme in case you want to create your own.)
The monthly milestone board from Darling Home Supply was a beautiful way to show off Miss Gianna’s growth over the past year. A fun and adorable display of this wonderful child!
My contribution was helping Jo bring her vision to life with balloons and the photo backdrop. For the balloons, we went with variations of sizes (5”, 11”) in gold, burnt orange by Tuftex, and white by Tuftex. All balloons are listed at the end of the blog if you are looking to recreate them. My blog partner Erin had her husband Kevin make the white backdrops that we can add party messaging via removable vinyl. For this party we went with a simple “happy birthday” message.
Happy 1st Birthday, Miss Gianna! I am so lucky to know you and your family! Thank you for letting me help celebrate you! Xoxox
