Cocoa Bar & Holiday Treat Board
Yay for Christmas treats & Family Movie Night!!
We’ve made these fun charcuterie style treat boards for Valentine’s & St. Patrick’s Day treats and they have been very popular with the kiddos (and mamas!) so with all of the fun holiday candies, we thought it would be a fun addition to a hot cocoa bar and family movie night!
Thanks to treats from Trader Joe’s (Mini Dark Chocolate Stars, Gingerbread Cookies, Peppermint Mini Meringue) and Target, putting together this family sized treat board was fairly easy. For this one we stuck to the red, white and brown colors with a little pop of the green gummy trees and Little Debbie Christmas Cake sprinkles.
These gingerbread man mugs from Target make a sweet holiday gift when filled with hot chocolate fixings and sweet treats. Here we included a packet of cocoa, chocolate covered pretzels, snowflake marshmallows and candy canes.
The Santa plates, Santa napkins and peppermint candy large plates are all Meri Meri brand, from previous years’ collection that I snagged at Home Goods. They match well with the Jolly Santa centerpiece and paper cups from Walmart. The Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la banner is from Pottery Barn Kids.
These Santa paper cups are from Walmart. A pack of six cost less than $2 and they pair adorably with the Meri Meri Santa plates and napkins.
In this holiday treat charcuterie board, we found treats from Target and Trader Joe’s. The Little Debbie Christmas cakes add a colorful pop along with gingerbread cookies, dark chocolate mint stars, gingerbread sandwich cookies, peppermint mini meringues, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered graham bites, gummy treats, peppermint butter mints, marshmallow snowflakes & red hot imperial candy.
