2020 Santa Pictures
With as much as I treasure celebrations and holiday traditions, it is probably no surprise that I LOVE Santa photos! It kills me to not be able to carry out traditions that we do as a family year after year, so this year I was bound to find a way to get a Santa photo. I incorporate the Santa photo from each year into my holiday decor, replacing the photos in frames with years of Santa pics and family holiday shots throughout the living room. The kids delight in looking back when they get pulled out.
I am now seeing lots of social distanced options popping up which is wonderful, but in case you are not able to attend one of them or do not have one in your area. Here’s what we chose:
This Santa photo template from Ashbury Design was very easy to use. When purchased (for less than $10.00!!) you are immediately sent a link to edit the image by adding your own photo. I know it isn’t the real thing, but for those of you unable to get find a social distanced option this year, it is a great alternative!
Another option is to set up a photo shoot using a vinyl background with Santa in it. There are several options available to order. Here is the link to the one I used. The design was great, but when I tried to iron this vinyl backdrop, it melted and warped a section that made it hard to hang straight and required some editing to salvage. I am sure someone with better photo editing skills could make it look event better, but at least it is a cute, casual photo of my kiddos in their holiday PJ’s.
It might be a little late to make the photo backdrop happen this year, but this the Santa Photo overlay from Ashbury Design can be done in minutes at any time. Also, they carry several different options and orientations with Santa and the frame and even just sell the Photoshop overlay if you are fairly savvy with photo editing.
